Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Lumi's Little AI Lab (the "Service") is provided by Ramona Anghel ("we", "us", "the seller"). By using the Service you are entering into an agreement with the seller. If you are using the Service on behalf of a child, you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Notice and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
3. What the Service is
The Service is a browser-based activity companion for children ages 6–10, plus optional paid content ("Explorer Pack") of extra missions and printables. There is no child sign-up, login, chat, or open text input. Progress is stored locally on the child's device.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:
- use the Service in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful way;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data;
- upload malware, run security probes, or scrape the Service;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
- resell, redistribute, or share paid content with others outside your household;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical limits.
5. Intellectual property
The Service — including the Lumi character, illustrations, text, audio, code, and branding — is owned by the seller and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and any printables for personal, non-commercial family use only.
6. Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment terms, billing, tax handling, invoicing, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy. Our own Refund Policy explains our commitments on top of that.
The Explorer Pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. No recurring charges will be made.
7. Service level and warranties
We work to keep the Service running well but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service — including any paid content — if you: (a) materially breach these Terms; (b) do not pay amounts due; (c) create a security or fraud risk; or (d) repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. Where possible we will let you know first. If your purchase is refunded or charged back, your Explorer Pack access will be revoked accordingly.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's country of residence, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
